MADS K JOHANSEN
Mads K Johansen sees a chair as he would see for instance a t-shirt and wonders why manufacturers of furniture have not been inspired by the clothing industry. If clothes had been manufactured in the same way as you make chairs we would all have been forced to wear size 41 in shoes and a size medium t-shirts. Mads K Johansen has therefore designed an official number system for dining-room chairs, ranging from no. 37 fitting a person who is 140 cm high to no. 55, fitting a person who is 207 cm high.
