TEKNODROM

03.05.10-10.06.10

In the Pacific Ocean there's a big cluster of plastic waste from the nearby continents. It's the purpose for Teknodrom to find a method on how to transform this cluster to solid land and thereby create a new continent in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.

Teknodrom is Mikkel Johnsen, Kristian Byskov and Andreas Rasmussen, students of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and its Architect school. Teknodrom is at the same time a humorist dream of a new continent and a dystopian and concrete tale of what the plastic comsumtion of 6.8 billion really means. Their process and research is shown in KBH Kunsthal at Krabbesholm from 03.05.10 and the final product is exhibited in KBH Kunsthal at Carlsberg in Copenhagen. The show opens at 5 pm 14.05.10 and can be seen untill 10.06.10.
