COMMON AREAS
The main common room is the great hall which is used for lectures and common events. Every day there is morning assembly in the great hall where teachers, guests or students are in charge of a presentation that serves as a prelude to the events of the day. The ceiling and walls in the great hall are ornamented with paintings made by the Dutch painter O. C. Wassmann in 1765. The dining hall is placed in one of the half-timbered wings. Here you meet each day at meal times 8 a.m., 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. In connection with the dining hall, you find a living room area with pool table, games and TV.
Parties and Friday bars are normally held in the Grundtvig Room which is equipped with a bar, a sound system, a video projector and sturdy furniture.
