GRUNDTVIGSTUEN
Do it yourself - lighting the students living room.
In the spring the students made the lighting of their own living room. The living room is a coffee-room and a bar and is also being used for exhibiting paintings and photographs. The lighting of the room was to consider these different functions and should also take in consideration that the production of the lamps should be made here with simple tools in already determined materials: opaque, clear and red acrylic. The light was divided into bar-light that became a cloud of illuminated white, opaque disks floating over the bar. The wall light became light-torches with bundles of light at either top or bottom as well as a illuminated version of the table-soccer-game on the wall. Finally a series of little lanterns for the window to give the sense of intimate lighting.
