STOPMOTION
As a joint start of the semester all students across the different main courses have worked with film as a theme. On the photography course the students started out by taking photographs of movie stills that they had invented themselves, then they made a storyboard with photographs of a real or fictional movie scene and ended up making a stop motion movie with their camera. In all three of the assignments technique has played an important role. The aim has been to learn to master a SLR camera and examine how light behaves, while reaching an understanding of motif, composition, content and storytelling.
