SHAPE

”When things’ way of being things form a synthesis and when the visual statement of things is reconciled with its way of functioning in the three-dimensional world, true moments of bliss will occur.”
With this quotation as a starting point the photography class and the design class were asked to work together in groups to photograph an object of their own choice. First they had to take a photo that focused on the object and made the objects best/most interesting side stand out. Afterwards they had to create an image where the object was put into a context. In the last part of the task all the groups were handed an object, a light bulb, and a word, which they had to illustrate in the picture. Throughout the week, fashion and advertising photographer Mikkel Strange was participating as a guest teacher.
