INSPIRED BY Erik Spiekerman, Matthew Carter, Massimo Vignelli, Wim Crouwel, Josef MÜller-Brockmann, Neville Brody, David Carson, Stefan Sagmeister, Paula Scher, Experimental Jetset

This example of a task should be viewed as a combination of the theoretical and practical dimesions of the course. The first part of the assignment was to research and give presentations on a number of well known graphic designers. Presentations showing their work and commenting their methods. The second part was to assign oneself a project in the spirit of the particular graphic designer and to try to work with the inspiration that can be drawn from the work of other graphic designers.
